Education for students in our school is free of charge and it lasts 4 years. There are three vocations available to our students: nautical cadet, marine engineer cadet and freight forwarding and customs operator.
Students who graduate elementary school and are under 17 years of age can enroll into Maritime High School.
Every school year 140 students are enrolled into the following 5 classes:
Nautical cadet 2 classes, 56 students
Marine engineer cadet 2 classes, 56 students
Freight forwarding and customs operator 1 class, 28 students
In the course of their education the students study subjects in line with curricula and programs, with utmost emphasis on English language and practical studies.
Practical studies are implemented on simulators for nautical programs, and in especially equipped workshops with machines for processing of metal and finally through navigation on board the school ship Jadran.
